Our pricing is straightforward. There are no hidden charges, no call-out fees and no surprises on the invoice.

Our hourly rates
All prices are per hour plus VAT. Rates vary by time of day only, not by day of the week meaning there’s no need to book time off work or pay more on the weekend.
Where materials are required, we charge for the materials + 25% in order to cover our costs.

Common pricing questions

No. There is no call-out fee and no charge for attending. Once the engineer arrives and begins work, you're charged at the hourly rate plus VAT, with a one-hour minimum and 15-minute increments after that.

No weekend or bank holiday premium is added. Rates vary only by time of day – daytime (7am–6pm), evening (6pm–12am) and night (12am–7am). A Saturday morning is charged at the same rate as a Wednesday morning.

GEM 24/7 plumbing rates start from £125/hr during the day, £150/hr in the evening, and £200/hr overnight (midnight to 7am). There is a one-hour minimum charge and no call-out fee on top. All prices plus VAT.

For emergency callouts, we'll give you a clear indication of expected time before the engineer begins. For planned or compliance work, we can provide a fixed quote in advance. Call us to discuss.

All major credit and debit cards are accepted on the day. A full written invoice is issued after every job showing start time, finish time, work carried out, and a breakdown of labour and materials.
